The world day of the migrating fish

The world day of the migrating fishes – new ecological date. On May 21, 2016 1501 organizations held the event devoted to the World Day of the migrating fish worldwide. The holiday begins in New Zealand with the sunrise, and comes to an end on the western coast of North America. The purpose of this holiday — to tell people around the world about importance and value of fresh-water ecosystems, the migrating fresh-water fish and free flowing rivers. This day gives the chance to remind people that the river is not only a source of water for the human. The river network is a house for fish whose existence depends on a condition of the rivers, their hydrological mode.
