The Tiger Day. Far-Eastern Russia


The very first Day of the Tiger, created by wildlife manager and writer from Primorye, Vladimir Traininy, took place at the Central Square of Vladivostok in 2000. Make it a city festival offered by the city and the Primorsky province administrations, environmental public organization, and this idea has resonated in the hearts of thousands of people. Now tiger procession already took place on 16 September in Birobidzhan and Terney, on 22 - in Ussuriisk, next Saturday the tiger Day will be celebrated in Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk and on the same day striped holiday starts in the capital of Primorye, where it lasts for two days — 23 and 24 September.
